A message from Sports Unbiased’s Managing Editor, Rich Stowe

It’s been a fantastic six weeks since we started this site.  We now have six writers for the site and also have one contributor (who takes part in the Writers’ Block series of articles).  We have reached major milestones such as over 150 articles published (the majority of which were done by the original four writers for the site) and we had over 11,000 unique visitors to the site in January and are already more than half-way to passing that amount in February.

Recently we started rolling out Home pages for some of the major sports.  Last week the MLB Home page went live and this week both the NFL and NBA Home pages went live as well.

You may have also noticed a new pop-up when you get to the site, asking you to follow Sports Unbiased on Twitter, Facebook and Google+.  You don’t need to do this if you don’t wish to (simply click close in the upper-right hand corner of the pop-up), however, following us on those sites is a great way to find out when a new article has posted.

It appears we have hit our stride in regards to recurrence of articles being posted – Adam posts his weekly PGA Tournament previews every Wednesday along with his previews of the MLB Divisions for the 2013 season, Rich’s Rants comes out every Friday, and there is at least one Writers’ Block article every week (this week’s was the Worst QBs in the NFL).  We have even started to cover Tennis and Soccer and our Legendary Moments section has some truly memorable videos in it such as Lawrence Taylor breaking Joe Theisman’s leg and Jim Valvano’s inspirational ESPY speech.

There are still big changes coming.  We have many plans for continued improvements around the site and some big ideas that will take time to come to fruition – so keep coming back!  You just never know what will be new and improved!

I just want to take a second to thank each one of you, our readers, – especially those who keep coming back every day and reading the articles and voting in the polls.  For those who this may be the first visit here – thank you as well.  I hope you are enjoying everything you’ve experienced so for on Sports Unbiased and hope that you, like us, are looking forward to seeing where this site will go in the future.  If you like what you see, tell us in the comments or via Twitter, Facebook and Google+.  If you don’t like what you see, tell us that as well so we can try to fix it.  The one thing I ask is that you tell your friends!

THANKS!

Rich Stowe, Managing Editor
