A message from Sports Unbiased’s Managing Editor, Rich Stowe
We are now entering the third week of Sports Unbiased’s existence. We hope you’ve enjoyed everything you’ve read on this site so far and have told all your friends about us and are following us on Facebook!
Last week was a pretty big week for the site. Our readership has skyrockted over the last few days due to our continuing coverage of the NFL, whether it’s breakdowns of NFL Playoff games such as the 49ers win over Green Bay on the backs (and legs) of Colin Kaepernick or Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons finally getting a playoff win.
We also had the first interviews in the site’s history (and for the writers as well!). Adam did an interview with Nick Cattles of ESPN Radio 94.1 here in Hampton Roads and I interviewed Craig Calcaterra of Hardball Talk.com and Brandon Steiner of Steiner Sports Memorabilia. We are working on getting other interviews, so keep an eye out – you just never know who we may get an interview with.
On the lighter side, the writers discussed their Top-5 Sports Movies and later this week will decide their Top-5 Sports Video Games.
We are continuing to make improvements to the site – adding slideshows to posts, adding more writers and coming up with more original content.
I’d also like to thank David Snipes of 7 Pound Bag, R.K. Menn of MMA Spartan and Matt Strobl of ISportsWeb for continuing to allow us to use some of their content to fill in some of the holes we currently have on this site (MMA coverage mainly). If you haven’t checked out their sites, please do so!
